As if you didn’t already love shopping at Target, you’re about to love it even more.
The retailer recently announced that it’ll be launching more than 12 (this is not a drill!) exclusive new brands. While “Tarjay” is already home to a ton of brands we know and love, the company saw an opportunity to add to its “Only-at-Target” portfolio.
“When we took a close look at our existing assortment … we saw a disconnect,” Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer Mark Tritton explained. “We knew we’d need to refresh our offerings—and define new ones—so our guests continue to love what they’re discovering at Target and want to keep coming back, again and again.”
Among the 12-plus new brands we have to look forward to are four at which Target has already given a sneak peek. They’re called A New Day (“a versatile, mix-and-match women’s brand”), Goodfellow & Co. (“modern-meets-classic line of men’s clothing”), JoyLab (“fitness-meets-fashion-and-function”) and Project 62 (“a modern home brand thoughtfully designed for everyday life”). Let’s just say, we’re already obsessing.
